Pop Up was approached to create a unique and engaging promotional item for Virgin Atlantic at the NFL London games. Virgin Atlantic was looking to activate its NFL partnership and break away from traditional giveaways while standing out vs other sponsors at the tailgate in London.
Pop Up designed and created 10,000 Virgin Atlantic-themed NFL helmets. The helmets were handed out by Virgin Atlantic staff, both flat and assembled, at the tailgate prior to the game. The branded NFL helmets were an instant hit - which resulted in a re-order the following year. The helmets were printed on sustainable and robust card to ensure a premium feel at a competitive price point.
